(*) Based on Historical Records (mostly Church Records of the Parish in Costacciaro), we have been able to trace back the Rooths to the

 

Morelli Family down to approx. 1560, when the earliest known

PAOLO (Morelli) was supposedly born.

 

PAOLO was still alive in 1635 when his Son GIOVANNI (better

known as “GIOVANNI di PAOLO”) was one of the Church Attendants

(Priori) in the Old St. Apollinare Church of “Valbonosa”, just off

Villa Col de’ Canali.
